Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,
After three years of prayer and fasting for the Lord to provide opportunities and facilities for existing and new ministries of CBI Japan, we have recently learned about a property in downtown Nagoya that seems like the answer to our prayers.
In the six-year history of our ministry we’ve never made a public appeal for financial support. The Lord has always provided for our needs in response to prayer and also through the generosity of our small circle of friends and supporting churches. But the enormity of this particular challenge and the tremendous opportunity compels us to make an appeal to the broader Church of Jesus Christ.
Whether you have been a friend of our ministry from the start or you have only recently become acquainted with our ministry, we thank you for taking the time to pray for and advocate on behalf of CBI Japan and gospel mission work in the least reached nation of the world, Japan.
We plead with you to prayerfully explore this site and respond to this great opportunity of purchasing a campus for the ministries of CBI Japan. The challenge that is currently before us is great, but we trust in the Lord of whom missionary Hudson Taylor could say, “God’s work done in God’s way will never lack God’s supply.”
With hope in Christ alone,
President, CBI Japan
